This set provides twelve individual mason jars configured for passive hydroponic growth. Each jar uses a self-watering mechanism that allows herbs to draw moisture as needed, making it a practical choice for kitchen windowsills. The kit includes net pots that secure the plants while allowing roots to reach the water reservoir below.
The clear glass design allows for easy monitoring of water levels and root health without disturbing the plants. Because it uses a simple wicking or kratky-style method, it does not require electricity or noisy pumps to function. This makes it a quiet and low-maintenance option for those starting a small indoor herb collection.
The package is sized to fit standard windowsills, allowing for a variety of herbs to be grown in a compact footprint. By using individual jars, growers can easily move or rearrange their plants based on light availability. It serves as a functional starter kit for anyone interested in soil-free gardening in a home environment.
